| Abstract: |
The common misconception with performance tuning
engineers is to focus on tuning the
cluster/private interconnect of the RAC cluster
when the performance issues could be elsewhere in
the cluster. Almost always the performance issue
in a RAC cluster is beyond just the interconnect.
There are several other components in the RAC
cluster such as the IO subsystem, the memory and
CPU sections, user interface etc that could be
hindering the performance of the cluster. This
session will look into identifying areas in your
cluster to profile performance areas and tips to
optimize them.
