This presentation provided an architectural view of Oracle9i Application Server and how it can be used to develop and deploy Internet applications. It covered how to build dynamic, personalized transactional applications, connect them with other B2B applications, and make them accessible through enterprise portals and wireless devices. This presentation highlighted the J2EE stack and the performance, scalability and availability features of the Oracle9i Application Server.

Shishir Agarwal is currently focused on Oracle9i Application Server specifically on the J2EE stack. Prior to working on application server, he was involved with Oracle9i database specifically on the high availability aspects of the database.
